Christos Giannopoulos was born in Patras, Greece in 1981.
He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, and the Porto School of Fine Arts.
He has been selected by the committees of Paintingsince2000 (2025), the Premio Combat Prize (2021), and the Frissiras Award (2017).
From 2016 to 2023, he curated a series of exhibitions featuring artists from Greece and Italy.
In 2014, he participated in a workshop residency for artists and curators focusing on site-specific art practices in Monte Argentario, Italy, and in 2009, he presented his work at Deree, in collaboration with artbox.gr.
He has held solo exhibitions at Polyedro (Patras, 2026), at Centro Congressi Rosolina Mare, curated by Giorgia Bergantin (Italy, 2025), and at Blu Gallery (Bologna, 2022).
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in galleries and museums across Greece, Italy, and abroad.

Dal 2016 al 2023 ha curato una serie di mostre con artisti provenienti da Grecia e Italia.
Nel 2014 ha partecipato a un workshop residency per artisti e curatori incentrato sulle pratiche artistiche site-specific a Monte Argentario, in Italia, e nel 2009 ha presentato il suo lavoro al Deree, in collaborazione con artbox.gr.
Ha tenuto mostre personali presso il Polyedro (Patrasso, 2026), il Centro Congressi Rosolina Mare a cura di Giorgia Bergantin (Italia, 2025) e la Blu Gallery (Bologna, 2022).
Ha partecipato a numerose mostre collettive in gallerie e musei in Grecia, Italia e all’estero.
Ο Χρήστος Γιαννόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Πάτρα το 1981.
Σπούδασε στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας, στην Ακαδημία Καλών Τεχνών της Μπολόνια και στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Πόρτο.
Έχει επιλεγεί από τις επιτροπές του Paintingsince2000 (2025), του Βραβείου Premio Combat (2021) και του Βραβείου Φρυσίρα (2017).
Από το 2016 έως το 2023 επιμελήθηκε σειρά εκθέσεων με καλλιτέχνες από την Ελλάδα και την Ιταλία.
Το 2014 συμμετείχε σε workshop residency για καλλιτέχνες και επιμελητές με αντικείμενο τις site-specific καλλιτεχνικές πρακτικές, στο Monte Argentario της Ιταλίας, ενώ το 2009 παρουσίασε τη δουλειά του στο Deree, σε συνεργασία με το artbox.gr.
Έχει παρουσιάσει ατομικές εκθέσεις στο Πολύεδρο (Πάτρα, 2026), στο Centro Congressi Rosolina Mare σε επιμέλεια της Giorgia Bergantin (Ιταλία, 2025) και στην Blu Gallery (Μπολόνια, 2022).
Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολυάριθμες ομαδικές εκθέσεις σε γκαλερί και μουσεία στην Ελλάδα, την Ιταλία και το εξωτερικό.
